The Mars landing is a long way from being a reality, and the chances of it happening are remote.
That’s why we don’t even think of it as a possibility, the two-time Super Bowl MVP told CBSSports.com on Thursday.
The Rams won’t have a stadium until 2019, and they won’t play there until 2021, at which point they would have to make some changes to their stadium plan to make it work.
So they’re not planning on making a stadium anytime soon.
It’s possible that the team could have a lease for a stadium in 2021, but that’s unlikely.
And it’s also possible that if the team does build a stadium, the league won’t allow it until 2028 at the earliest, the year the Rams would play at the new home of the Los Angeles Raiders.
If the Rams did go to LA, it would be on a privately-owned site, and that site could change before the team gets to LA.
The team’s current home in St. Louis is a former stadium.
So there’s no guarantee that the Rams’ current stadium will be open to the public, if they decide to move to Los Angeles.
